[Brussels, 24/04/2024] – Intrepid AI, a startup focused on advancing robotics development with AI assistance, and Avular, a leading mobile robotics company specialising in autopilots and autonomous navigation, are pleased to announce a technology partnership aimed at fostering collaboration in robotics development.
Avular, renowned for its modular mobile robot platform, offers a comprehensive solution encompassing sensors, processing power, and software, making them a respected name in the industry.
Intrepid AI provides an AI-assisted platform designed to expedite robotics application development for drones and ground vehicles. The Intrepid platform equips developers with tools and resources to streamline the creation of complex robotics behaviors.
This collaboration between Intrepid AI and Avular, along with recent partnerships with Nvidia and with researchers at Vrij Universiteit Amsterdam, represents a significant step forward in advancing robotics technology. With Nvidia's support, the team at Intrepid AI will have access to GPU compute infrastructure to run some compute-intensive algorithms that characterise the Intrepid Execution Engine (IEE) and the Intrepid Simulator.
The team of researchers at VU Amsterdam is contributing to research advancements in mobile and swarm robotics, particularly in areas such as patrolling and search&rescue missions, with multiple robotics agents.
